About Me

Hi, I’m Tyler Smashey. I have a brother and a sister. I live with both of my parents. My mom is a nurse, but also runs a business breeding and selling Bengal cats. My dad works at Escalade, but does photography as a hobby. Currently I run my mom’s website and I have been for a year and a half now. As a hobby I build PC’s. I have built 4 PC’s so far and plan on upgrading my personal one soon. I have recently gotten into flying drones. I just bought a $650 DJI Mini 2, and I have been using that to get some really cool photos of nearby areas. If we had a place nearby I would probably attempt to join a hockey team.  I joined CEO because my friend introduced the idea to me and I thought that I might be able to learn a lot and hopefully give myself more opportunities to be successful in life. I hope to become a better public speaker and have a better understanding of what goes on in business so if I ever decide to become a business owner, I have knowledge of how to manage a business. I also hope to become a more enticing option for companies to hire when I do go out and get a job. After high school I want to attend at least one year of community college, then go to the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. I have a couple of ideas of what to go for but my number one option is computer engineering.
